I am a Barbie hobbyist

Some people are Barbie collectors, I call myself a hobbyist. To me the difference in the emphasis on playing with the dolls and sets, creating stories, photography and having fun with the dolls, rather than putting the emphasis on the number of the dolls or the rarity of them or the like. I also do horrid things like mix and match my dolls clothes, eras and even body parts to get a combination that I like. One thing I don’t do though is mix other fashion dolls with Barbie. It has to be Mattel, and it has to be Barbie.
