I had a fairly scary stalker once, that I informed the police about, but I still would not hide my face. In the past when I used scenic pics, it did nothing for me as far as solid interaction with another blogger who shares something similar to me. I know how to market my pic without being stalked all over the net and harassed. Honestly I have not had a problem of stalking that I couldn't handle. I certainly have valid reasons for covering my face online, but for those who don't blog on controversial topics that get death threats and such, I would be very upfront and show my face, too.
